NDDRMC: Death toll from magnitude-7.2 quake rises to 158

(Updated 11:30 a.m.) The death toll from Tuesday's magnitude-7.2 quake in Central Visayas rose to 158 before noon Thursday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.
 
In a media briefing, the NDRRMC said the latest two fatalities were from Bohol and who were previously reported missing, radio dzBB reported.
 
Of the 158, the NDRRMC said 146 were from Bohol, 11 from Cebu and one from Siquijor.
 
Of the 374 injured, 188 were from Bohol, 182 from Cebu, three from Siquijor and one from Negros Oriental.
 
The number of people affected also went up, to 671,967 families or 3,406,227 people.
 
At least 72 evacuation centers have been set up in Cebu and Bohol to accommodate 12,976 families or 65,274 people.
